Has anyone moved their solenoid right out of the way so its right against the block or even remote?
I'm struggling with space behind my rad and I may be able to squeeze a second fan in if the solenoid disappears.

You can rotate it quite a bit by re drilling the hole closest the block and making a small bracket at the front.

I've got a pic somewhere of mine which i borrowed the idea from Matty.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

Thanks, its still going to be in the way with the motor rotated.
Im going to get a spare and give it a go, ideally trying to get the solenoid underneath the motor

MikeRace is after a hi-torque starter if its the inertia type.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.
