Just got back from the rolling road with the TT2-7P. Wil has just left mine and will be back home in a couple of hours with all the details, but until then what do you think?

I should just say that all went well the only problems were a loose boost pipe and a gear selector problem, neither show stoppers.

Anyway on with the guessing

I'd guess in the mid 180's but I've put 190 as my poll entry.

I'll give you a tease; at 12psi was was making more or less the same as the 5 port was at 15psi. The question is how brave were we.........

You're all in the right ball park

Actual figure 178bhp @ 7300
144 lbft @ 6200

This was at 18 psi, the old engine made 153bhp at 15psi, this one made 164 at 15psi. Unfortunately the battery went flat and we were struggling with boost control, a bit of work needed and we might one day run 20psi.

Big thanks to John and Simon at Specialist Components, they answered many stupid questions, and always fixed things quickly.

We had a great day at the RR. Andy at R J Bradley and Son, Station Garage, was superb.

We now have a safe base map up to 18psi which is a good start. I think the off boost, etc will be improved over time as we develop the ignition and fueling.

Not sure, but boost wat tailing off and I'm not sure if it was the compressor running out of puff or the boost controller running out of bleed. I suspect the latter, but TBH we only planned to run 18psi.

Blimey, good result, that power curve reminds me of the DON, gaining 100bhp in 1000rpm!

Where are the pics? Great result! Was that t the flywheel?

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
