Just removed my blackstuff pads cos im not happy with them, now i dont apply copper clip, no anti squeal shims, and ive never had any squeal from any pads so far, be it 8.4s or 7.5s.

give them enough time they will bed in ...but if its driving you insane, i would ditch them and get some othe make but not!! EBC GREEN STUFF if you value your life

Did you de glaze the discs before fitting the new pads?

I gave the discs a good going over with brake and clutch cleaner before fitting the pads, i routinely clean the discs with it too On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

I have heard that EBC pads contaminate the discs so some production paper to them and to the new pads also as these will have been contamined also - brake cleaner alone will not remove this contamination! On 5th Sep, 2011 Vegard said:

i had a problem similar to this on the pug, just used some fine sandpaper to clean the pads and the disks and it stoped and breaks alot nicer now as well :) Drives
