Hi everyone - I'm returning to my routes in mini tuning. I've had a few mini's in my time but I progressed through a strange route including Cavalier SRI, Subaru wrX 5gttturbo (I stll have this and have no intention of getting rid of, it is a phenomenal car) and also an 03 Cooper 's' which my wife drives as a daily driver.

I have missed the good nature of the mini clubs over the years and have come across an H plated cooper which I intend to install a turbo engine of 1 kind or another, or even adapt the existing 1275cc lump that is in there atm. I have initially signed up to gain as much knowledge on this topic as possible and to share some of my findings along the way. I will be beginning my journey in june / july by trial fitting my C1J 1.4 turbo lump from a 5 turbo to start with. See how practical it will be to fit this lump in the mini.

Welcome to the club mate. Recognise the name from RTOC!

Would be good to see if a C1J would fit!

Hello and welcome,

If you intend to fit a C1J, I'd say convert an E6J to turbo as they flow much better whithin the same "bulk"
