So my engine didnt come with any clutch parts at all, apart from the clutch cover and arm - picture at the bottom of the post.

So i'v been looking at all the clutch options but don't know what to go for. My build should produce about 120-130 bananananas.

What I really want to avoid is anything thats going to be heavy underfoot as the car will be used as a daily driver, or very regularly at least. Living in London, having a very heavy clutch will take any pleasure out of driving the car because traffic is regularly heavy.

If I go verto I could use a standard turbo clutch kit, but it would be right on its limit and would be likely to slip when I no doubt turn the boost up

The next level up would be to build an RTS clutch right? Can somebody link me to how to do that?

Pre-Verto, turbo-mini.com suggests going grey for an engine producing 130 hp but i'v heard that its quite heavy under foot, but will orange be strong enough?

I hope you can clarify this all for me as i'm undecided and confused as to what an RTS is.

What's everyone else running with similar set ups?

i believe an orange diapram would be up to the job there.

ive got one in my estate and its very good, but ive got a grey in the turbo and it sucks in traffic big time

13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat!

I disagree. An orange is OK for NA engines as they don't make the torque. A turbo engine will overwhelm an orange with no problem.

If an orange will be too weak and a grey too hard for traffic, whats the comprimise?

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

for 120 to 130 lbs/ft , id use a stock turbo pressure plate ,and a ap rally driven plate .

Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM

Can you estimate torque (curleys right?) from nanas?

So if im aiming for about 120-130 nanas, what kind of torque output can i expect?

Is there any step by step guide as how to make an RTS?

Yeah i'v read clutch thoughts but im pretty technically clueless at this point in time. As much as i understand the principles I dont want to go bodging something up before I know its right.

Can't wait for the 'How to' Brett. How long do you think its going to be before its up?
