This is a question about my daily runaround (998 standady city)

In the mornings when its cold (ish) and damp, the little bugger wont start, the enginine just spins.
and when it does fire up it only runs off a coule of cylinders for a couple of mins. then once its warmed up (choke in or out) it runs perfectly.

i will be replacing a couple of things 2nite (rotar arm and dizzy cap) but could the fault be anywhere else apart from this.

the plugs and leads are fairly new aswel,

cheers

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

it will more likley to be the leads on damp mornings.........
having said that.................................

to prove this spray say, wd40 before you start it up on the leads if it sorts it thats the baby!

if its a points set up replace these and the condencer aswell

usually on the points setup the heal on the points wears badly in a very short time as these are made out of spanish these days

the points gap shuts up next to nothing,
this is a well known cause!
*wink*

99.9% of the time its the electrics and even if the leads are new they MAY be a crap set batch which has slipped through the net ?

i bet its the points!*wink*
