ie, the bit from the wiring loom.

One for the Metro cannibals (you know who you are :) )

I've temporarily mislaid my old Metro wiring loom and am finishing off my "standard" wiring and need one (with suitable tails) to connect to my Mk1 Metro front mounted rad.

The switch is about 8mm X 14mm parallel sided oval (so that is presumably the inside dimension of the connector) I only measured it in case there is more than one type on the early Metros.

Beer tokens await.

Is it a factory switch?

They should just be 2 straight male terminals on the switch and a couple of female terminals on the loom.

Andy,

It's a non-genuine copy but copy of the original.

Two straight male terminals on the switch within the oval bit but the loom connector is what I've temporarily lost....

Andy, you are correct.

I found my old loom and it does indeed have two female connectors for standard Lucar tags.

It appears I have an Allegro switch fitted to my radiator (Intermotor part number 50050 instead of 50056) so I was never going to find the right connector....

Correct switch now ordered :)

74 degree stat, I don't want the internals getting snug before it then gets nailed of the line.
