Not enough difference to warrant not using a free one I think.

as a rough idea, in std fettle on a mini block you can expect around 100 hp from the 8v head and about 120hp from the 16v head. On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

The cams on the 8v have little overlap which is good 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Am I right in saying that the K100 also has injector pockets in the head and not in the manifold? If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

More dump questions but would the 8v be better for low rpm torque? If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

Might have a look around some scrap yards this weekend to see if I can find me a 16v, I take it I will be needing to change to bigger injectors if i'm looking for 150+ bhp? I don't really like the idea of the power band 4k+. |

Could you change the cams? If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |
