hi, i have fitted a standard metro plenem body with a maestro neck to allow for intercooler fitment.

the plenem has a take off for a dump valve, i plan on using the bosch recirculating type

when i changed the neck i came across what i believe to be a standard pressure relief in the plenem, ie a hole, cap with a spring.

do i leave this setup as it is or do i need to remove?

http://www.turbo-mini.com/9320/index.html

looking at the advice on turbominis.com it says remove the spring and block the hole? if this is correct how do people block this hole up?

many thanks,,

dan

bung up the std relief valve, aparently a load of 5p's under the spring should do the trick.

I've had one where the bottom part of the neck which retains the spring is chopped off and replaced by a metal plate.

Also seen one with the spring retainer bit tapped and a bolt threaded through which presses against the 'plug'.

If you don't want it welded up, option A is a bit nicer IMO.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

you can use car filler to block the hole
