i was soldering the map switch over cable onto the ms ecu ( after everything went so well) i managed to solder the pin next to it too :( then the third trying to clean it off the 2nd. i tryed a crafts knife too but gave up before breaking something

If you intend on doing more soldering of that nature or even just redoing this one, a flux pen is very useful. And solder braid is essential.

solder sucker would be best. Although never used the braid stuff.

Solder sucker wont take that off, you wont get the seal to suck it up.

think i have properly fucked this now :( got the solder cleaned off quite nice but the megasquirts 3 led just light up when its powered on it doesnt do anything else Yes i moved to the darkside |

You need the bootloader code and a BDM to program a new CPU.
