Has any of you guys tried shedding some weight off the front hubs? I know the flange can be machined, the only bit i can think of is the rear part where the drive shaft goes in.

I've often found that losing a bit of weight off the rear part makes it look generally nicer and is more pleasant when the shaft goes in.

Just by tidying up the casting you will loose weight and it will look better.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Bin the brakes and cut a hole in the floor, 2 birds with one stone, you'll loose weight in the front and the floor and be able to brake via the soles on your shoes. *wink* on a serious note, anyone got any piccies of lightened hubs?

What about disk bells being ally they would save alot of weight, could even do a full bell and flange setup possibly, i have been thinking the same about reducing the hub weight and the rear radious arm, would love if somewhere did tubular ones off the shelf or something
