I have allways had trouble getting my maniflow downdraft and avonbar clamp to clamp well onto the turbo elbow.

I decided to attack it again today, and i cant do shit.

This has been blowing for over a year now and its really getting on my tits,

Any advice? *evil* *angry*

funny you should post this message up, i fitted the engine into the car for the first time today and connected upo the exhaust system, that clamp is a right bastard, i cant get my pasty hands in there to do it up tight, plus it rubs on the subframe so im gonna have to take it to a custom zaust place down the road to get them to bend it for me slightly. i can see the bloody clamp is gonna blow like yours does

Well I don't have any experiance with the Avonbar clamp, perhaps some one on here can confirm it's made for the 2" exhaust or you'll have to contact them.

If you're sure that it fitted OK off the car, then its going to be difficult to sugest why it doesn't fit on the car, apart from if the down pipe is fouling the subframe.

Remove the clamp and check how it all fits together, and I'm sure you'll sort it.
