Today is the first day my car has been started and on the road in 10yrs so i'm going to start popping up with quite a few questions now.

hmm, i thought it was suppose to rattle a bit at idle with SC gears? |

Straight cuts will rattle...don't worry about it...they also whine like crazy while you drive too.. Eric

yes this is normall and the noise gets worse when the oil is hot nothing to worry about

Might be worth just raising the idle speed a little as the noise does abate a small amount but to be honest, you're probably stuck with it as that SC combo is destined to be as loose as they get.
