for road use i would not play with the pedal box IMO be safe keep std 1293 Turbo mini

Wolfy, if you have a roll cage with a dash bar and are not incorporating the mounting of the steering column upon it i would suggest you do so. The reason for this is that you can remove everything backwards of the pedal pivot point.
