Yes it will, but it won't go into the standard transfer case.

It's probably a bit snug for that

Why you want one so bad? STD one is up to the job.

Ask Matt Woods & Nic Rizzardini what nose bearings they run. *wink*

Pass! Put it this way. With a well build SC box I wouldn't hesitate to put 200nana's through one. (If my engine evers make it that far!)

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

I'm sure the casting number on the turbo case is the same as a standard A+ case. I'll have to check for my self.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I thought the turbo and non turbo bearings had the same OD ie the turbo one fits the std transfer case?

i thought it was a larger bearing in general on the turbo box, making it unique im almost certain my old turbo box had a massive ( in comparison) amount of meat there too

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*

No, the turbo outer race is significantly bigger.

I did a search..couldn't find the exact answers.. so i stick it to this topic..

If i rebuild my Original spec metro turbo gearbox and transfer case..is the 1st motion shaft nose bearing for the transfer case the only bearing wich is diffrent?
Is this only the one on the transfer case side or also on the gearbox housing wich has a diffrent size?

And are there any other bearings or items inside the gearbox that are unique for turbo only?

I need to rebuild my gearbox as my bulkrings are shot..and by the sounds of it also the nose bearing is playing up.
But didn't opend it yet..

And if somebody has got the numbers of the bearings that would be briljant..so i can pick them up locally.
Or a link to the answers..

It's a little car .... eating big money
