With the longer arm is anyone having a similar issue to this? Everything is tight up against each other. There is pressure on the clutch when its all tightened up.

Everything is new. Springs on the RTS sit almost flat. Clutch is on nice and tight.

Could it be my WOK is the wrong type? It was a pre-verto.

I'm gunna go try a few things in a mo.

(PS i know i need to support the rear)

I raised up the whole bracket, not just the slave

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

leeds/wakefield.

unless I'm mistaken and I am often not , the long arm has the ball set further around anticlockwise [to the right] by at least 10 degs, this will cause the clutch to have no freeplay,

the only way to alleviate this would be to turn the bearing register off by a few mm to set the bearing away a little creating a some free play

Thanks chaps, I guess you had a steel bracket sprocket? So you could re drill the wok hole lower on the bracket. Can't do that with the dsn, could maybe tap it further up/file it down and make an plate to bolt it higher.

Your spot on Carl, that's what causes the issue. I took my short arm off my other engine and its the angle change that brings it closer.

I've put the standard short arm on it and it seems fine. In fact I'm probably
Going to stick with it as it doesn't feel that much heavier than my old engines clutch.

Aside from arm issues the slave wont work like that the back of the slave needs to rest on the bracket or the whole thing will flex and bend like mad

turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)
