Hi

I am looking at upgrading to MegaJolt and have seen this on TMF:

Can someone let me know if this is a good buy and if I need anything else?

Thanks a lot

For that money I'd expect everything ready to plug in and go, trigger wheel, leads etc.

Oh really...

I had looked on trigger wheels website and they are £325 for the full kit.

Is it worth just getting the one from trigger wheels as it's new and complete? That does mean spending nearly double.

the add now says he has everything so looks like not bad price; didn't look at the photos but it doesn't mention if it is tps or MAP control

I assume that the MAP version is more suited for our cars.

Does it utilise an original MAP sensor that is on the car or do you have to buy one and drill into the manifold to fit it?

So, should I buy this or save myself the hassle and get a complete, new kit?

Thanks for the help.

I have decided to give this a miss as I am inexperienced in it and would prefer to spend the extra money on a complete setup rather than getting a second hand kit that may not be perfect.

Before I go and order it with trigger wheels, do I need the MAP one? Do I need anything else?

Southern Norway.

Yes go for the MAP :)

Edit: Map sees manifold pressure, which is what you need, the TPS is throttle position sensor or something *wink*

Thanks, I thought so.

Do you have to drill into the manifold and add a custom sensor or do you utilise a sensor that's already there?
