Well after stuffing up the bearings on my gt15, Ive stripped it ready for the rebuild. But this has only confused me more, here are some pics to help me explain.

3 holes on 1 side and 1 on the other.

The orientation of the holes is whats confusing because the medium sized hole at the top of the flange runs down the side of the core to the "drain flange" on the opposite side of the core. The large hole in the middle opens up to the main cavity of the core. The small hole at the bottom is the feed to the bearings.

Am I right in thinking that oil is fed to the bearings through the small hole, then fills the main cavity, flowing out of the large hole into the medium one, some how, and the down the side of the core and out of the "drain flange", or have I completely missed the can ?
From pictures Ive seen the large hole should be the drain hole if compared to other turbos, but that doesnt make sense with all the holes being on the same side.

Anybody have any ideas ?

"So wat we gonna do tonight Brain?"
