hi guys just a quick one for you im currently running a 998 with a hs4 1 1/2" now my idle some times is nice and low and other times its a bit high but it changes every time i get to a junction or set of traffic light and ideas?? Done now needs redoing lol |

those carbs are too big for a 998, id find some 1 1/4" 13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |

look for a vacume leak on the carb the pipes leading too and from, split maybe ? or to connected right, this is the first place to look.

its nly temporary whilst i build the turbo motor and its never played up before with some quite good performance too until my hg went recently and since replacing i iv had the carb problem il check the pipes over Done now needs redoing lol |

Maybe check the manifold gasket too, if you have had the head off.

i did gasket sealnt it but i didnt retighten nuts after a run i shall also try this. Thanks for the help guys great as ever il let u know if i sort it Done now needs redoing lol |
