My Mrs wants a mini rag top, anyone got any tips on where to look on how to make them safe (or as safer than most) or any sites to conversion kits. I like the look of the banham kit, but can't find any info on it. Ideally, I would like to keep the doors opening. Any one do the conversion? On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

I think I have to be honest, since I bought all the bits for the mini I have been made redandant, I'm climbing back up the ladder again, but not earning what I use to be. I've updated the spec sheet for you. On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

I thought they made some Metro cabriolets at the time they badged them as 114's etc?

yeah it was about that time, i remember seeing some rover pics but have never ever seen one, i thought they dropped the idea before producing them |

yeah, buy her a Rover 100 cabrio and tell her it was originally based on the metro, which was based on the mini, so will do.

hi jimster found this a while ago and just unearthed it again it is the custom cars guide to there malibu conversion it gives all the points to strengthen or they do a kit have fun
