Now a bit of an odd one, but if the crownwheel was moved upwards by about 10mm and then inwards so as to keep the correct tolerence with the pinion gear, (obviously by heavy modification of the gearbox). Would this make it better or worse in the senario of the pinion trying to climb up the crownwheel under power ? My personal view is it wouldn't make any differnce, but you could all so use a pinion support to assist if there was any issue. Thoughts or ideas ?

I'd say it would make no difference what so ever.

Can you not just use the pinion support. Carl has to good effect in the twinny so I believe.

I fitted one aswell when my cwp. Bit the dust.
