I've installed a windage tray, and now am wondering how the piston skirts will receive lubrication. Is there enough oil that seeps out the edges of the gudgeon bearings and slung around that the cylinder walls get lubricated? **************************************

I would say yes. Otherwise north, south a-series engines wouldn't get enough lubrication. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

The bores are lubricated the same way as any other engine without a shared gearbox. Its not anything to be worried about I seriously doubt it! |
