hi all first time ive spotted u site and im very impressed.ive just finished building my mini turbo and have a problem it smokes!
ill do my best to describe it. i can drive around all day and its fine if i accelerate hard its ok but as soon as i come to a stop for instance at the end of the motorway clouds of blue smoke(oil)come from me exhaust, on idle. as soon as i pull away it stops. i used a fully reconed turbo block(bought second hand but never had been used)the turbo has had new seals and bearings in. the head has had new guides in and new stem seals. breather system is good ive tried the little air filter types and now the standard turbo one. the turbo outlet pipe isnt blocked. ive checked and tried every thing.if anybody has had a similar problem or any suggestions i would be realy greatful

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

99% goin be your turbo seals
put an LCB on and try it , that`ll prove that its the turbo or not,

Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

the head wanst sitting around for a long time in built state was it? Sometime, particluarly with NOS, the valve stem seals can crack and perish if there not coated in oil. Bit of a long shot, but its somthing i have heard about on more than one occasion.

Hope you sove the problem

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie
