what oil to use in the dash pot on a mg metro turbo carb |

proper SU damper oil. available from Berlen etc On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

If youre stuck or cba to get proper damper oil, you can run a 50:50 mix of 20w50 and 3in1 oil.

Use the stuff I linked to above, it's relatively cheep and it's what the carbs where designed to run on. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

sae 80 or 90 gear oil is the best we have done some tests on the rollers and get more consistant results over 20/50 as it gets thinner as it gets hotter thus causing slight lean spots when intial throttle is pressed, always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas |
