what oil to use in the dash pot on a mg metro turbo carb

proper SU damper oil. available from Berlen etc

If youre stuck or cba to get proper damper oil, you can run a 50:50 mix of 20w50 and 3in1 oil.

Edit: Minispares also sell the damper oil, though theyre round the corner from me, ive just never bothered and havent had any negative effects to what ive been using.

Use the stuff I linked to above, it's relatively cheep and it's what the carbs where designed to run on.

sae 80 or 90 gear oil is the best we have done some tests on the rollers and get more consistant results over 20/50 as it gets thinner as it gets hotter thus causing slight lean spots when intial throttle is pressed,

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas
