every time im hunting on ebay i have to use the "-" to avoid chinese crap more and more, form example when searching for a seat for a rover, you need to do

rover seat -belt -cover -baby -covers and so on.. pain in the arse. and ofcourse this may end up in you missing a genuine listing :(

turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

I tend to find there are thousands of offers when you don't need them and only a few when you are genuinely looking to buy

I think a lot of people are just hanging on to items more now, I know of a few people that have mountains of spares that they don't really need but choose to keep them for spares rather than sell them.

Also the more rare gear gets listed on forums and snapped up before it even gets to eBay.

Their fees are silly and like the government they sting you twice on fees.

Which is probably why people try the forums, mostly with success, before eBay.

I used to sell quite a few bits on eBay, but haven't done for a few years now as they morphed into FeeBay...
I disagree strongly with having to accept PayPal, and every time they hike the final value fees I lose a bit more incentive.

I have a set of ultra-rare CIBIE Bidodes to get rid of. They don't get listed often and the last set I saw on there got up to £400+ and didn't reach reserve. Why should I hand over the thick end of £60 when I could drag them to a couple of shows or post them for sale on an Escort forum ?

Metric is for people who can't do fractions.
