im having a bit of trubble fitting the pads.

the pads themselves are a very tight fit in the caliper top and bottom and up against the disk and seem to be rubbing on the disks. the green stuff pads look like theres a bit more play and i dont need the plyers to get them in and out.

took it out for a quick test and im getting a strong smell off the brakes.

any help or tips would be great thanks. paul

Yes was right from minispares web site:

Pair of 4-pot 6082T6 alloy BILLET calipers for 7.5" diameter brake discs with 10" wheels. Kit includes pad retaining pins, but not brake pads.As used on Peter Baldwins mini miglia challenge winning car for 3 years Note: pads have to be modified by cutting/filing off a small corner part of the metal on two pads. This does not impair the quality of this fitment.

He had taken some meat off the corners, but not enough. We had some green stuff pads that came with the calipers which had the corners removed. We used these as a template.

They seems to be fine now.
