So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Sidecar racers are all mentally deranged (as well as skilful and fearless)

I have had a short ride in a sidecar and its terrifying.

To see them in the IOM with all those walls so close to the action makes me cringe just watching it on TV

Missed most of it this year - too busy, but did catch Guy Martin, Mick Doohan, Ago etc on 5 live bike hour on Thurs.
As you say, it's a truly dangerous place but these guys do it because they want to, so the least we can do is enjoy watching them, eh?
You're right about the coffins though - my local dealer (Bell's) used to go there every year (don't know if they still do?) and the Sunflower 100 at Kirkiston, where I used to see them race.
As an aside, I was lucky enough to see Joey Dunlop at the NW, the year he died (on the Honda SP2), and was returning from a track day at Kirkiston when I heard the sad news.
Bloody heroes, those road racers!

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

I saw a black bike with side car on a trailer on the motorway the other day. The sidecar was a hurst, looked like you could get a normal sized coffin in it.

I take my had off to these racers. Have done some local hillclimbs and it's quite a buzz (7,5 kms course with speeds varying from 80 -220kmh for me). I couldn't imagine the concentration required to nail a couple of TT laps. Some of the kiwis that race TT absoultely kick my arse locally. You think you can ride until you met such people.... hence a mini turbo with a cage to use instead of the bike.
