What is the best fuel to use on my mini turbo. Engine is leaded. Someone told me it will run on anything because of how tough everything was to coupe with the turbo. But Don't know how true this is.

Someone down the pub?

Whoever told you that I would stop taking their advice.

If it's a leaded engine (i.e. has no inserts in the exhaust valve seats) then it will need an additive to stop the valves recessing. When buying an additive use one that has an octane boost too. This is what I used before I added the hardened inserts.

Also it depends on how much boost you are running and how the engine has been set up,

If its been set up on 99 octane and you stick 95 in it with lots of boost your probably gonna melt somthing.

I use 115 octane Sunoco racing fuel. Never had any problems and it's leaded.
