ok my subframe is being sandblasted welded and powder coated tomorow but am a bit confused, i angle grinded the suspension thingy sorry mental block but it still doesnt come out what use would a cone compressor tool be i'm gonna have to take the top arms offto get them out, next question is the bump stops have fallen off are these asy to repllace its dark cant see jus wanna know in case mine is fooked! cheers

suspension thingy? I guess you mean the ruber donuts (springs)???

If so, I've found that on alomst every mini i've had the displeasure of working on the top arm has to come off to get them out - which surely need to come off anyway if you're getting it powder coated???

Bump stops are of course replaceable... Make sure you've removed the metal backing piece that the rubber would normally be attached to (held on with a 1/2" nut on the inside of the tower - donut has to come out first mind).
Same goes for the rebound rubbers under the top arm (usually held on with a single plilips screw).
