It might be m10x1.0 since that is not a Bosch sensor, and intended for Vauxhal On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

The problem with these un branded cheap sensors is their relibility. Genuine Bosch ones are not that much more expensive. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

I think that you're probably right. As it happens I want to use a temp sensor adaptor (as seen on Ebay), where you cut and tuck it into a hose.

All sorted, I found a 1/8 NTP sensor (not BSP that's a mistake above) with the right plug for £12. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

You could always get one and drill out the 1/8 NPT and tap M12. should be fine On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

I've installed one of those, just re-drilled and tapped it the size I needed (standard Mini 5/8 UNF in my case as I put the ECU one in the head (where the normal one goes) after sleeving the existing hole down).
Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |

I stuck the old 5/8 mini one in the lathe and drilled through it and used it as the sleeve for an 1/8NPT sender for the ECU. I'd already fitted the head so didn't want to drill and tap it for M12 filling the waterways with swarf. |

I'm putting my ecu temp sensor through a blank over the heater tap hole in the head. Should get lots of flow from the dry deck port. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

I did this on the hillclimber, but I want to monitor temps on the Sprint, as I don't believe the gauge, and this has a heater so I can't do that.
