hi guys thinking of turboing my clubbys standerd 1275 just to give it a lil more poke dont want to run to much boost im gona run t2 on a mirage manifold just wonderd what else id need

If just for low boost I'm sure std pistons will be OK so long as the rest of the setup is correct e.g. fuel and timing.

An intercooler would always be of great benefit, youll also need a plenum chamber and some kind of blow off valve would also be beneficial, whether it be vent to atmousphere or recircularatory.

thanks guys i alread have turbo inlet plenum and possibly a carb . once i get a few bits together ill start looking at intercoolers

You will most certainly be better off with an OEM solotion if your on a budget rather then these crappy intercoolers off ebay.

Cosworth 2 and 4wd seem to be a good choice.

Yeah, ive got a cosworth 4wd intercooler to fit, and even behind a clubby fg front its fooking huge. If its a roundnose, something small like an audi tt intercooler is best at the front of the engine bay catching as much airflow as poss
