pistons I woud have thought he has pistons seeing as he says he has an engine and not a block On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

If just for low boost I'm sure std pistons will be OK so long as the rest of the setup is correct e.g. fuel and timing.

An intercooler would always be of great benefit, youll also need a plenum chamber and some kind of blow off valve would also be beneficial, whether it be vent to atmousphere or recircularatory. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

You will most certainly be better off with an OEM solotion if your on a budget rather then these crappy intercoolers off ebay.

Yeah, ive got a cosworth 4wd intercooler to fit, and even behind a clubby fg front its fooking huge. If its a roundnose, something small like an audi tt intercooler is best at the front of the engine bay catching as much airflow as poss On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:
