while me gearbox is off being rebuilt we've decided to chop the roundnose off and fit a clubby fibreglass front. it's only a cheap one i picked up 2nd hand just so that i can get the IC and rad etc all mounted and stuff while i save up for a carbon 2 piece one.
It's been a lot easier than we expected, plus i've learnt to weld now aswell which should come in useful

clothes pegs holding the roof on ??

Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

looks erm, interesting to say the least! I'm guessing on the lack of engine judging by the ride height.

nah its the new thing now, better than LED washer jets.

yup engines in pieces in the garage waiting for the box to come back. plus the bloke i bought it off must have been running 20" spinners by the amount he's cut the arches out.

ok, so the clothes pegs were left on cos they were holding an old sheet across the windscreen while we going at the front with the welder and grinder.

well good. I love clubbies.

the sides are fastened down with 2 dzus clips each, just welded a plate onto the back of each A panel.

umm, wellers, wish I had a set of those!!

got a fair bit of work done this week aswell, looking good for making the riv run now

got the front hinged and primed, welded up all the air vents and various rust holes i found, T2clubby's done most of the wiring loom now aswell and mounted the headlights for me, grille's mounted, engines all paited up ready to go.

should be getting the box some time this week so i can get the engine back in this weekend and then sort out the ride height, fit the arches, mount the rad and intercooler. and may even spray the front end if i get time before the riv.

the shocks should be ok i hope, they're both spax lowered adjustables just different colours

didnt get my box till lunchtime today then ran into a problem whilst building it up, the gasket set i got didn't have a clutch oil seal and it had the wrong timing cover gasket so i'm stopped untill i get back from work tomorrow night now :(

that block is (forgive the lingo) SPANKIN'!!!!

just sorted out the gasket and oil seal from me local factors so the engine will be in the car tonight
