Hey chaps,

Can anyone confirm that 40 and 45 dcoe's have the main hole in a different position?

I have a couple of 45 flanges and they dont line up with the ports on my head (40dcoe) where I expected there to be a 2.5mm step all the way round, there is a 5mm step at the bottom and no step at the top.

joe ,the main hole is in the same position on the end of the carb ,diametrically opposite the other hole .which is the same size .but smaller on the smaller carb .

the step is a turbulence inducing anti puddling measure .
the designed way to adjust this is to use a 8mm bolt through the flanges ,and slide the carb up till you achieve your required alignment ,then nip it up .
