As I've never done them before do you have any tips on fitting non opening side windows? Is it rubber on glass then use string to fit to body, or fit rubber to body first then string to get the glass in?

I fit the rubber to the body and then string to get the glass in. When I say I, I mean the bloke I paid to do it for me. On 2nd Nov, 2010 wil_h said:

Fit the seal on the glass then string it in.

i put seal on glass and screw driverd the rubber to the body took about 5 mins a window 13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |

I've tried fitting a windscreen by putting the seal to the glass and then trying to get it on the car. Broke the screen... On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Are poly carb windows any easier to fit? |
