As I've never done them before do you have any tips on fitting non opening side windows? Is it rubber on glass then use string to fit to body, or fit rubber to body first then string to get the glass in?

Or something else completely..

They are new seals if that makes a difference.

I fit the rubber to the body and then string to get the glass in. When I say I, I mean the bloke I paid to do it for me. *happy*

Fit the seal on the glass then string it in.

Start at the tightest corner then work the top or bottom edge up the next corner, then do the opposite side and work your way all the way round.

Make sure you press on the seal on the outside as you go round.

I've tried fitting a windscreen by putting the seal to the glass and then trying to get it on the car. Broke the screen...
