I've been thinking about where to get my engine work done. But i'm not sure whether there is anyone local to me that could do the work, or if i would be better off sending it to a place like med, swiftune, smmc etc.

A friend of mine has had numerous work done by ratt racing and swears by him, says hes the dogs danglys. Hes also got his own rolling road!

Try contacting your local Mini Club mate.
Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.

I don't think TSR do any machining now - they got taken over a few years ago and are bolt-on VW people. Their tester had never MoT'd a Mini before he did my estate !
Metric is for people who can't do fractions. |

theres a guy called brett sims who is down in the new forest, perhaps a little east for you but he does the engines for work, and actualy used to work at longmans, used to do all their head work... google brett sims motorsport if ur curious David. |
