on the bottom of the chamber i have these tamperproof screws, i presume its safe to replace them with some cap bolts or similar?

Also, whats the chamber extention kit avonbar list?

Yep ! Just replace the tamperproof ones with ordinary screws, easily "borrowed" from a non Turbo SU. Worth fitting some spring washers under them as well.

New standard type screws come in the rebuild kit.
Easiest way to get old ones out is cut a slot using a junior hacksaw and undo them with a flat bladed screwdriver.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

or use a small socket as they're not usually all that tight.

fook knows.

All I do know is if it's some kind of 'spacer' to basically increase the volume of fuel in the float chamber, i've yet to see a need for it, and secondly, i'd like to know how you'd fit the heatsheild under the carb...
