Do any of you guys fit a bracket between the exhaust and the gearbox when using a Maniflow or similar downpipe?

Just wondered whether we should bother.

I always have done.

We have done on the van again this year too.

As John, said I always do. U bolt exhaust clamp and a bit of old metal for the bracket.

I guess it depends how solid the engine mounts are.

Thanks guys.

I've actually made a simple loop bracket for now.

On the TT - No. Everything is solid, and the cast manifold is super strong.

But on the Sprint I do. Infact when it came undone, the manifold cracked.
