I'm thinking regarding where the idler gear bearings sit and also the input shaft bearing in relation to the first motion roller bearing.

To be honest, I wouldn't risk it. Got no reason to defend my comment, but would you use different end caps on con rods? I've always assumed most components are matched sets. On 19th Jan, 2010 wil_h said:
