Hi,

I will be setting my cam up at 106 degrees but I have a new chain set.

I will need to allow for stretch which I have read is 1-2 degrees.

Can someone please confirm I would need to time the cam in at 104 degrees and not 108?

Thanks

Jon

Hi,

I have set-up my dti through the spark plug hole and rotating clockwise there does not seem to be any dwell on TDC.

It just starts to move straight back down again. The scale on the dti is .0005", would this be why?

I was expecting a dwell and to have to take a reading a couple of degrees before and after.

Also do I need to removed the rockers and set off the top of the push rod or can I do it from the top of the rockers?

Many Thanks

Jon
