Well after a really fun day, all day i was going for getting another 17.6 like last year spent most of the day trying without realising one of the runs i had done during the day was a 17.601 very happy chappy
my runs as follows
2.625 60ft 17.944 1/4 - missed 2nd
2.489 60ft 17.750 1/4
2.479 60ft 17.736 1/4
2.424 60ft 17.771 1/4 - running 3/4 throtel as tensioner slipped
2.443 60ft 17.736 1/4
2.471 60ft 17.689 1/4
2.419 60ft 17.601 1/4
Some good times i saw being set, the strip seemed alot more slippy than last year, hope people have fun on sunday

After having the I/C pipes blow off four times I did eventually get to my target of a sub 16 sec run.
Two runs at 15.947/89.21 mph and 15.894/90.11.

Well pleased and I left just as it started to rain, so good timing there as well !!

There were a few new peraonal bests, also the a35 turbo is amazing very well put together and tadge44 was a top bloke as well very friendly mayoturbo and i were chatting to him for ages

maybe suggests there's more to gome with better launches?

Pb of 13.8 @ 98... Finally made the 13's!

Its all just down to a very small oil leak which essentially gets caught on the sumpguard, but idk how theyre going to see it. Ive put my rad overflow and fuel overflow into 2 separate empty drinks cans, is that a problem or not?
I think if i make it to the 1/4 im hoping for late 17s or 18s. 1275 Stage 1 64bhp probably about a tad lighter than road trim.

should be leaving early tomorrow for a look unless its pissing down...

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

My best run was 14.97 @ 93.97 in the Charade GTti 993cc.

Was good to meet a few more people/chat about cars etc.

Glad the weather was good but I wish Avon did not have its own breed of flys!!!

managed an 18.2 :)
but on the way home something got very very whiny, idk if its my drop gears or something to do with my clutch. fml.

bog standard 1275 with a stage one kit, last rolling roaded at 64bhp (not sure if thats at the wheels or fly, im guessing wheels?) Fg front end, fg roof, no spare wheel, no back seats, rear cage, dash and centre console with i think a 3.44fd on 10s
My ticket said 18.213s and reaction of 0.8s, that was my third run down the strip. Never been down before so was pretty chuffed, my best reaction time was 0.6s.
Some of the reaction times there were just daft, they must know the lights off by heart to be getting 0.1s
I had a run down with a chap with ally door skins and a side exit exhaust (think hes from here) one against mikerace i think? and an a classed car (998 i think, did 20.7s)

Oh yes haha, he ran a 13.8 against me, there was no competition really haha.
I wasnt expecting to beat anything tbh, just there for the fun

My best was a 13.2 on 15psi. Unfortunatley I never got a clean run after turning the boost up to 20psi...missed gears, boost hose blew off, hard cut kept cutting the engine.

Im gunning for the 12's now!
