I cannot understand why you claim that it's a remote change set based on those pictures. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

Isn't the reverse gear idler the only thing that changed when the selector type changed? As that doesn't seem to be present I can't see how you can tell. |

If its pre A+ it wont go into an A+ case without modification. This could be causing the confusion I seriously doubt it! |
