got the car to go. but needs more power

when i got the car as a unfinished project the engine would run but could not go over 10.
had the carb rebuilt and now it runs and sound good. but the car dose not feel fast evan for a mini. never mind a turbo. you feel the turbo kick in when at high revs so the turbo lag is really bad and the turbo is very load. what is the best way of tunning the engine so it runs well. when the car is idling the boost gauge say 2 bar. the boost gauge is under the bonnet so cant say what it runs at. help need please

Take it to an experienced rolling road operator and get it setup properly.

mini sport near blackburn is about half hour away. or do i need go some were that knows more about turbo engines.

where are you based?

in wigan tryed google to search but its usless. i think there is a place in warrington near ikea. ( if that means anything to you) i think it may do jap cars and ford. dont know if they would know what to do with a small carb engine in a evan smaller car.

Are you sure its a boost gauge under the bonnet??

rob at minisport used to tune metro turbos, he knows about them, he just helped me set up mine. you will need to book it AND they only open on (i think) thursday friday and saturday.

put a t peice in the line put the boost gauge in the car, not sure how or why it would be under the bonnet, get it set up should make a good difference.
