Can go pretty much as low as you like I guess.

To retain some handling though then the bump stops are your limit. You want to be at least 1/2" off the bump stops when the car is at rest. Then allows 1/2" of suspension travel before settling onto the stops.
Also needs stiff dampers to make this work, or else the car quickly rolls onto the stops, and the handling changes violently.........
