It was mentioned in an earlier thread about my car running abit warm that it might be running a little retarded but there was more to that conversation so I thought I would separate out the mapping to its own thread.

The car was setup at T&M by Ray who is well known on here and knows what he's talking about, with my car having so few miles on it he suggested I leave my map to what he's set it to for about 500 miles or so and then take it back for fine tuning. He's suggested there might even be scope for another 5 degrees across most of the map.

Anyway, here it is, let me know what you think

Can you give a recap of the engine specs as I'm collecting the data together as a reference

1380cc
T3 Turbo
MD274 Cam
1.3 Rockers
Ported & polished head

There are other mods such as dished pistons, crank work, etc but i dont think you need those?

Thats also not the final map as there is some more advance and power to be had, but it certainly works well as it is.

Thanks Simon

What's the CR and inlet and exhaust valve sizes?

When you get it completely sorted, I'd be grateful if you re-post the new map

If anybody else is using MJ, I'd appreciate your maps and engine spec when everything is sorted on a RR

I'm attempting to create a database for everybody to use that will give fairly accurate first time setup maps
To do this i need as much data as possible, so that I can calibrate it correctly

I've got a few base maps and I've got the van's maps somewhere. I'll sort them out at some point.

Why don't you start a thread? I've got a feeling there is already one for this purpose if you search?

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.
