So i've landed a job for a small(ish) firm with some pretty damn good contacts for getting stuff built/machined as they do quite alot of work on turbines and stuff i don't understand (yet).

They are called Servo Engineering on Sowton ind est, Exeter. They do alot of overseas work on i presume gas turbines, and other 'rotary industrial machines'. They have just been in greece for 3 weeks on the start-up on a turbine out there that is used as a back-up generator for the island or something. In all honesty, i'm not that sure. I currently know feck all about turbines and stuff, and i've only been there 2 days. I just pick up the spanners and have fun on what i know for the moment. James. |

The problem there is building a mini at work all week = you can't be bothered to do yours on the days off. The amount of joinery jobs I've got to do around the house keeps mounting up I just can't motivate my self to do them |

I do agree, if it was me building up a minie all day I wouldn't fancy going home and doing mine all night, then going to work the next day and doing a mini, then yours at night.. Yoiu get the picture. Audi s4 b5 - 470bhp & 486ft lbs

Your all missing the point, you can take bits of yours in to do whilst at work thus saving time at home - they'll never know.
