Hi guys. What makes a turbo su carb different from a standard and can a standard be converted?

You know when you regeat selling something, I'm having one of those moments.

Yes they can be converted, the turbo su are a sealed unit, there are slight differences on ther carb body too

all i did.. block up the overflow,
reverse the spindle seals ( althouhg mine has 2 sets in for some reason i just reversed the inner seal)
drilled for the float bowl pressure port (t - piece trick also cures this)
plumb up like a turbo carb
not forgetting the spring and needle
i sealed my dashpot to carb body with a neat bead of silicone sealant
