There is no overflow on a turbo carb, how are the pipes connected?

it cant be connected that wrong as we got it started!
theres petrol down the back of the block, but to me it seemed like it was coming from the inlet manifold where it connects to the head!

is it possible to have fuel coming out of there if its so rich and not sealed correctly??

There a pipe from the fuel regulator into the carb and the return onto the plenum !! Then Peter Baldwin blocked another one off think that went to solenoid might b wrong tho

what ever you do dont put the pipes on the wrong way round and fill you intercooler with fuel!

what type of fuel lines do you have, i had the old ones with fabric leek from god knows where, you think there tight but still leeking.

does it leek with just the fuel pump on or when on boost?

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

if you are Sure! yopu have the pipes conected right!

then the problem will lie with a stuck open float bowl valve

mike we'll take it to bits tomorrow mate.

i reckon the float bowl is stuck open as steve has said. thats why it was smoking so badly, and the plugs had gone a bit black.
think we might need to check the oil as well as if it was running that rich, it may of got fuel in the oil....
