hi all just got a new head with the heater take off blanked

should i drill and put the take off on or will i be ok with out it?

while on this subject what is the best or what has proven to be the best cooling sequence cheers for all info

for better cooling connect a pipe from the heater take off to the top hose, (or use a metro / late mini thermostat housing)
