Ordinarily you would drill and tap the oil gallery holes for grub screws, but it sounds like you've already built the engine up? On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

I's still say tap it and bung it, just gease the tap well to catch the swarf.

The classic for jamming engines bolts that are too long in the engine mounts on the wok. Can't explain why starting it in gear would fix this though. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

Yeh the engines all built, I've replaced the oil gallery plugs with new ones, but I forgot about this hole. Ben, I think it was a starter issue tbh. |

Could it be a faulty starter? Its a pre-engaged jobby.
