is this A+ the guy cant tell me & im not sure either.

Technically, yes but it's the early one with the weaker casting around the 3rd motion bearing and four bolts holding it in (it usually cracks around one bolt hole). Also some of the early ones were still fitted with pre A plus internals while the factory used up old stock.

DAM 5626 is the later (stronger) casting.

Some people don't seem to consider them to be real A plus unless it's the later better casting.

The other giveaway that it's an ealy one is the diff housing held on by studs/nuts - the later ones used bolts.

It's a 'mix' series realy... Gear profile & ratio is pre-A+, but it has the large A+ 18mm pilot bearing and A+ dia. layshaft and A+ size idler gear bearings. Also these casing still have studs & nuts instead of the A+'s bolts.

One could say 'best of both worlds' *happy*
